Jose is a 20 + year cross-functional veteran whose tenure affords him the ability to counsel and act on end to end services often in tandem. He is a pragmatic visionary with a pulse on technologies poised to be game-changers. He also has a broad range of experience in multiple software platforms and programming languages. Jose has deep agency experience spanning senior roles to include operations, innovations, strategy, business development, as well as digital. His experience while focused on the healthcare vertical also includes consumer and entertainment.
Jose’s training earned him a bachelor’s degree from Pratt Institute, however, his love and immersion came from his stint in the United States Army where part of his focus was in Electronic Engineering with some course studies within John Jay College where he was also an ROTC Cadet. He brought these two disciplines together in his experiences as a musician where he felt using music, lighting, video projections, etc. were an inspiring example of what true multimedia is. His business and management acumen can be attributed to his years as a senior executive but more recently from his attendance at Harvard School of Business where he earned a certificate in Disruptive Business Strategy.
He has written articles in MedAd News, Medical Marketing & Media, PM360, as well as Ad Age. He has been a featured speaker at notable events such as AdWeek, AdobeMAX, and lead an industry panel at SXSW.

With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, David has developed a career spanning multiple aspects of the pharma world - from creative strategy and conceptual development across consumer, professional, US, and Global markets to category Education and Digital Innovations. This deep expertise carries across multiple categories, including Rheumatology, Immunology, Oncology, Cardiovascular, Respiratory, Infectious Disease, Diabetes, Wound Care, Devices, and Aesthetics and Correctives.
David's training and passions in fine arts, music, graphic design, photography, videography, and writing, paired with his love of science and intellectual curiosity, inspire him to push beyond the typical industry constraints to deliver work that connects with customers not just on a clinical level, but on an emotional one.
His fervor to seek and create work that stands out in competitive markets is easily exemplified by his leadership and vision working on the global blockbuster, Humira. David launched 8 new campaigns across 7 indications in the US and Global markets, most notably the RA Jeans campaign that has been proven to have a recall rate of 89% –which solidified Humira's standing as the market leader across multiple indications.
As a self-taught musician, singer, songwriter, David has written, recorded, engineered and sung over 100 songs in the last 25 years
